Hi! Today I'm going to talk about Jimmy's Hall a movie from Ken Loach, that also was the director from the last movie we talk about.
I want to say that I really liked the film, it got me watching the film all the time, I mean, it didn't bored me at all, because I felt that I was really learning some history, cause the characters, the clothes, the lanscapes, everyything looked so real. The story of Jimmy Gralton is real so I watched to know about him.
My favourite character, of course, is Jimmy Gralton because he was brave, he took the courage to come back from the United States to the place were he really belongs. Any man could have form a new and different life in any place, but he comeback.
Something I didn't liked is that in the movie the director, I guess, decided not to put any scene when Jimmy is in the United States, they could have show how he was living or something, but we couldn't see anything of the years he spent abroad.
My favourite scene was when Oonagh and Jimmy started dancing in the middle of the night when nobody was arround them, It was a very intimate moment between them, that I think was necessary to close a chapter between them.
I love the picture of the movie that you chose. I’m gonna see it again
